Universities are free to choose their recruitment criteria in the following cases: 1)admission in first year (L1) for the students for whom the Demande d'admission préalable (DAP) does not apply :
holders of a Secondary school final exam obtained through Francophone channels,
holders of a Secondary school final exam obtained in the European Union,
children of diplomats based in France
students enrolling for a second time in French higher education.
The DUEF B1 and the DUEF B2 are taken into account by the different assessment mechanisms of UPEC and may be considered for the validation of higher education application. This does not mean that the admission is guaranteed: it depends on the level and content of the student's university degrees, the adequacy of his/her request for the training offered by the university, and the number of seats available.
Some departments have decided that foreign students seeking validation of higher education must have a minimum level of French language proficiency to enable them to pursue their studies. Please check with the different faculties.
