About UPEC

Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) is one of the major multidisciplinary universities within the Paris area. With 14 faculties, schools and institutes, 1 observatory and 32 research laboratories, UPEC has been present in all fields of knowledge since 1970, its serves a population of over 42,000 students.

A major player in the dissemination of academic, scientific and technological culture, UPEC offers over 500 training programs in all disciplines, from technical degrees to doctorates (PhD), including a series of degree programs entirely taught in English. 


UPEC is engaged to building knowledge and actively responding to the challenges of social and environmental transformation by promoting excellence and greater social justice. Its strategic plan is built around five pillars of interdisciplinary development, training and research:

    Are you interested in taking French as a Foreign Language (FLE) courses at UPEC? Delcife, the Department of Teaching French Language, Culture, and Institutions to Foreigners, offers preparation for the DUEF every semester, covering 5 levels from A1 to C1. Enrollment is now open for the period from April 25, to August 23, 2024.
