On May 19, 2025, Jean-Luc Dubois-Randé, President of UPEC, accompanied by Laurent Thévenet, Vice President for International Relations, and Carole Hénique, Vice President for Research, had the honor of welcoming Dr. Santos Guzmán López, Rector of UANL, along with his delegation, for the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities.

The agreement provides for collaboration in the fields of education and research.

This visit gave representatives from the Faculties of Humanities, Science and Technology, Law, as well as the AEI International School, the opportunity to engage directly with their UANL counterparts to identify concrete avenues for short- and medium-term collaboration.

This marks a key first step toward the implementation of joint initiatives that will benefit students, faculty, researchers, and administrative staff.

UPEC extends its sincerest thanks to Mr. Guillaume Pierre, Consul General of France in Monterrey, whose support was instrumental in bringing this partnership to fruition.
