Teaching and non-teaching assignments during your doctorate

Teaching Assignments

 

If you have a doctoral contract, you can apply (or request a renewal) for additional assignments, whether in or outside of academia.

The advantage of these assignments is that they are attached to your doctoral contract and provide you with an additional salary of around €232.01 gross per month for the entire year.

Teaching assignments must be equivalent to 64 hours of tutorial work (travaux dirigés) for the year.

The application campaign takes place in May-June.
 

Non-Teaching Assignments

 

A doctoral student may also carry out additional contractual tasks. The nature of these tasks is to be defined by the institution.
