Welcome to our new international exchange students

NEARLY 120 INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE STUDENTS

For the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, UPEC welcomes close to 120 international students from 27 countries.

The majority is joining us from a European country through the Erasmus+ program (72 %). Others come from the United States via the MICEFA program or from Latin America and Asia within the framework of an international cooperation agreement between UPEC and their home universities.

ABOUT THE WELCOME EVENTS AT UPEC

The welcome program designed to make their arrival easier combined information and social events with:

Designed to make the arrival at their new university easier, the welcome program combined key information sessions and warm social interactions, including:
 

• An introduction to UPEC and its student services by the Office of International Affairs
• A French-level test for those wishing to attend French as a Foreign Language classes with the Department of French as a Foreign Language of the Faculty of Literature, Languages and Humanities
• A “Go International!” workshop to promote intercultural learning and encourage meeting with UPEC students
• An informal gathering in Paris including representatives of the student organization ESN Paris (Erasmus Student Network)

Throughout their stay, our international exchange students will benefit from the guidance of international relations officers and academic coordinators in each faculty, school and institute.

We wish them an excellent semester at UPEC and a wonderful intercultural experience in France.
