Wide range of programs

UPEC offers a wide range of programs in science, technology, health, administration, international exchanges, law, economics and management, literature, languages and human sciences, social sciences and education, sports and urban planning.

LMD DEGREES 
Courses at UPEC are divided into three levels, Bachelor, Master and Doctorate, in accordance with the European LMD system. They revolve around 5 main subject areas :
Arts, Humanities, Languages

Bachelor
The Bachelor’s degree is prepared in 3 years - 180 ECTS

Master
The Master’s degree is prepared in 2 years - 120 ECTS

Doctorate
The Doctorate is prepared in 3 years, after a research Master’s program. It gives official recognition to research work carried out as part of a university team or research body.
It is obtained by writing and defending a thesis.


UNIVERSITY INSTITUTES OF TECHNOLOGY (IUT)
The IUTs prepare for DUTs (Diplômes Universitaires de Technologie) and validate an advanced technician training prepared in 2 years. They also offer the possibility to obtain a professional bachelor's degree (Licence professionnelle).

HEALTH STUDIES
Health studies last at least 9 years after the final secondary school examination.


ENGINEERING TRAINING AT THE HIGHER INSTITUTE FOR LIFE SCIENCES
This training is accessible to students who have validated 4 semesters of higher education in life science or engineering by competitive exam (minimum of 120 ECTS ).


TEACHER TRAINING INSTITUTION (INSPE)
Professional teacher training in every subject and professional training of all people working in the National Education from nursery school to secondary school are provided.
