International students : prepare your arrival at UPEC

You have been accepted to UPEC to start or continue your studies ? Here are some tips to help you prepare for your arrival in France and take your first steps in your new university.

1. Create your own roadmap

Thanks to our Online Welcome Desk, you can locate UPEC in its environment and download your customized roadmap in French or in English in just a few clicks. Get the essential information on each step to take based on your profile, from the preparations in your country of origin up to your arrival in France.

2. Read the Welcome guide for International students

Made especially for you, this French-English welcome guide contains all the information you need to complete all necessary steps regarding your arrival in France. It provides an overview of the services and activities offered to students on the campuses.

3. Find housing before your arrival

Finding a place to live in the Paris region can be challenging. We strongly advise you to start looking well ahead of your arrival in France.

To help its students and future students find an accommodation, UPEC has set up a dedicated housing platform, in partnership with Studapart. This multilingual website (French, English, Chinese, Spanish) lists studio apartments, shared apartments, student residences, rooms in private homes, etc. close to campus.

All you need to create your account is an email address and proof of your admission to UPEC. You’ll then be able to get support and complete all the necessary steps online.

4. Save the date: International Welcome Days

Do not miss our International Welcome Days, from September 4 to 22, 2023. This event is designed to make your arrival easier. A Welcome Desk will be available to help you through administrative and installation formalities and you have many opportunities to learn about your new university and its services but also to visit the area and meet other students.

5. Contact us if you need further help

UPEC supports you throughout your course of study. If you cannot find the answers to your questions in the Welcome Guide or on the website, simply contact us.

Exchange program students: international relations officers in faculties, schools and institutes
Individual international students: write to international@u-pec.fr or contact the administrative service of your faculty, school or institute.

Please note that the university closes on July 21 for the summer break. Offices will reopen progressively as of August 16.
