Independent student: how to apply?

UPEC hosts over 36,000 students every year, about 10% of them are international students coming from over 120 different countries.

ACCESS TO HIGHER EDUCATION IN FRANCE
In order to study in higher education in France, international students who do not have a French baccalaureate diploma must have a diploma corresponding to the end of secondary education, including a certificate stating that they have successfully met the entry requirements for university-level studies in the country where they obtained the qualification.
Applicants must also be able to demonstrate a sufficient level of understanding of the French language, appropriate to the level of study envisaged.

ENROLMENT PROCEDURES
The enrolment procedure varies depending on the study level you apply for:

> Enrolment in Bachelors's degree (L1) and first year of medical studies. Please note that international students residing in the countries listed here have to enroll via Campus France website
> Enrolment in Bachelors degree (L2, L3, LP)  and first year of Masters degree (M1)
> Enrolment in the second year of Masters degree (M2)
> Linguistic validation – testing for French language proficiency
