Independent student : how to apply ?

Hosting and enrolment of international students (outside of exchange programmes)
UPEC hosted almost 32,000 students in 2008/2009 of which 5,500  of them were international students coming from 122 different countries..
The enrolment procedure varies according to the level of study required. In order to ascertain the level you should be applying to, you should contact  the SCUIO-IP and the bureau d’accueil des étudiants étrangers (office hosting international students) in the "Scolarité générale" of the university who will assist you with theses processes.

In order to study at tertiary education levels in France, international students who do not have a French baccalauréat diploma must satisfy conditions allowing access to tertiary education via the relevant qualification at the completion of secondary education, including a statement of having successfully met the entry requirements for university level study in the country the qualification was obtained.

Potential students must also be able to demonstrate a sufficient level of understanding of the French language appropriate to the envisaged  level of study.

Please note that for international students residing in the countries listed below its is mandatory to enrol via the Campusfrance website according to the procedures required by the Centre pour les études en France (CEF):
